I am going to try to list 10 useful videos from around the web that demonstrate not only the paravertebral block, but placement of catheters for continuous paravertebral blocks.  Let's see if it can be done first, then I will rank them according to my view of their usefulness and completeness.  I may include industry sponsored videos if they focus on the block and not the product.  I am not going to include much of the unsafe or unclear content out there (you know of the stuff I mean).

There are so many experts around the world on this topic and I have seen some great demonstrations at several RA meetings.  Surely the web must be full of great tutorials on this subject...

Pluses+++

--> Clear outline.

--> Professionally narrated and illustrated.

--> Complete for its time: includes indications, safety considerations, medication doses.

Minuses---

--> Needs to be updated to include ultrasound guided / assisted methods of performing the block.

Andre Boezaart's series of videos are classics. This series of block tutorials are uniform in format, making them easy to follow and complete in their content. The best thing about these videos is that they were done before ultrasound overwhelmed the field of regional anesthesia.  I am not saying that ultrasound is not a benefit. What I am saying is that these videos capture the technique as it was performed when the physical anatomy was paramount.

Watch and memorize these videos and you will find that by thoroughly understanding the block performance with respect to the anatomy, you will more easily obtain the best ultrasound image to safely carry out the block.

The same consideration goes for this tutorial: ultrasound guidance / assistance is used to verify needle placement and more safely perform the block, so perhaps this video should also be updated.
